This is, no doubt, the most simple and durable watch ever, as expected from G Shock. it combines cutting edge technology, with simplicity. i mean even a dummy can use this watch. it;s good looking, stylish, and comfortable. Since i own this watch for more than 3 years, i can tell you this. if you don;t want a watch thats complicated, heavy, fragile, or can be broken easily due to you rough life stye. then this tough, and simple watch is all you ever gonna need!

bought this g-shock and i love it. tough as old boots and cheap enough not to worry about. it does what its supposed to, and accuratly, which is the whole point of watches!!! great value and will last for years.

I have owned a casio G100-1BV for about 10 years. In that time, I've worn it during working offshore on various oil installations where it has taken a fair old kicking. It finally expired as I was trying to change the battery for the first time since I bought it. But you can't blame the watch for my sausage fingered incompetence! I have no hesitation in ordering a replacement and I'm looking forward to another 10 years of use!

This is by far the best value for money watch I have ever bought. It is solid (put a dent in my doorframe and no scratch), reliable (haven't changed the battery in 3 years (kiss of death) and looks good enough to wear out, without attracting unwanted attention. Makes you more of a man to have a tough looking watch too! Brilliant for every day use and just about fits under a shirt sleeve cuff.
My only (minor) issue is that when the clocks go back, you have to hold the button to move the hands for a good couple of minutes - The hands move very slowly. Other than that, this watch is ace and will still be going when I'm dust!

Had my G100 for years after I discovered a bar wasn't the best place for a 'good' watch.
Now I would not use anything else. Totally bomb proof, utterly accurate. If you want flash look elsewhere. If you want a classic that can take anything and last forever, you've found it.
