Excellent good value watch November 10, 2009 Andrew Miles (Wales UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Used this in the Dublin Marathon 09 and was impressed. The menu system is easy to navigate. It gives you prompts so its virtually idiot proof. You can set 27 laps i.e get mile splits for a marathon if you wish. The watch is light weight and the strap seems fine to me. If you take into account the price then it's well worth investing in.

It arrived only today, but thus far I very much love it! It has everything I want from a watch: it looks great, it's comfortable, simple to use, and has all the features I've been looking for.
I was intending to purchase it's sister watch (the "Timex T5E631"), which I believe is similar in every way, sans the velcro strap. The reviewers for that other similar watch stated it seemed as though the velcro strap may be prone to deteriorate with enough use, and others said the velcro strap was a little weird. So, I decided to go for this watch with the resin strap instead. So no problems with this one in terms of strap.
The first reviewer of this mentioned about the light button. Well, I don't see it a problem having it placed at the top left. Phsst, some people are just a bit lazy, no? ;P and also, he mentions something about it being plastic, which is rather odd since one would assume the vast majority of watch buttons to be made of plastic. And au contraire to what he states, it very much IS a button, and is also easy to press down. All buttons are fully functional and are operated with maximal facility.
All in all, a brilliant, laudable and easy to use watch. Pretty good value too. What more could one want from a watch?
If you're looking for a great watch that has all the mentioned features, then get this, you won't be disappointed!
UPDATE: 1 year, 3 months later and I am still satisfied with this watch. I tend to use it and most of the functions to a great extent daily. I use it to voraciously time my activities in exercise and in following my personal schedules. After such excessive use, the battery has become dead just this week. I have just recently ordered a new battery for it. FYI, it uses CR-2016 3V batteries. So, a year later, I will summarise that I am still happy with it and would recommend it.

The watch is performing very well and doing what I wanted in a runner's watch, only gripe is that the lap button was hard to operate at first but ok now.Instructions were easy to follow so yes a good purchase .Ray C
GREAT WATCH FOR WORK March 25, 2009 Stephen. W (England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this watch to replace one which i had to return to tesco direct due to it being faulty. No problems with this watch.
It is extremely light and comfortable to wear. I even forget i've got in on sometimes.
I would highly recommend this watch to wear at work as it is a cheap, quality, easy to read, and comfortable.

Only had for a few days so far but already finding the watch very easy to use and read, would certainly recommend, especially for those like me who want to be able to ready their watch without having to put their glasses on lol.
