My daughter (aged 6) loved this watch which was originally a present. I bought another one to give to an older child as it is a really clear watch face with "telling the time" help. It also looks quite grown-up and can be worn to school. The only minor criticism I have is the watch strap. It was too big for my daughter and she kept pullling the velcro tighter which eventually led to it fraying. Having said that, the watch did survive her bad habit quite well. My daughter didn't ever swim with it, but it was fine in the bath when she forgot to take it off -watch strap stays wet for a while.
